Lead the product development project for replacing existing Steel pistons in a timing belt tensioner body with Aluminum Pistons. This included preparation of DFMEA and DVPR plans, issuing test requests to evaluate metallurgical properties and performance of new piston with existing tensioner body. Also conducted pre and post-test dimensional measurements and wear.
Performed surface roughness measurements and flatness tests using equipment like HOMMEL-ETAMIC T8000 RC and KEYENCE VR-3000 for assuring the dimensional and quality compliance of Check Valves and Pressure Relief Valves resourced by new suppliers with company standards
Performed Laser drilling for Check Valve product development project
Provided Solidworks designed CAD models as an alternate Check Valve design that reduced from five-part assembly to a two-part assembly. Also, performed static analysis in ANSYS Workbench to determine the optimum design in terms of stresses and deflections under maximum pressure conditions
Conducted benchmarking analysis for Tsubaki and Harley Davidson timing belt tensioners
Co-ordinated all the projects using Siemens Teamcenter

Lead the design of Nara Paddle Dryer (NPD) machinery which is an Industrial dryer used for drying slurries with capacity of drying from 2% up to 85%
Performed design calculations to determine the optimum wall thicknesses, gear ratios, jacket dimensions for optimum heating as per Client requirements and standards set by Nara Machinery Co., Ltd
Designed and analyzed Pressure Vessels required as an equipment for the Nara Paddle Dryer using PVElite software
Reviewed and corrected Parts and Assembly Drawings drafted in AutoCAD by draughtsman to approve them for production
Reviewed Bill of Materials, Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams for procurement and process compliance as per client requirements
Visited client site for troubleshooting design issues on pre-installed NPD machinery
Performed site visits to understand the site of installation, direction and positions of inputs, critical requirements of client and resolving technical doubts as a Design Engineer
