Aim
1. To Design the Chebyshev four-bar pin-connected linkage shown below. Units are meters. This linkage should be an assembly created in Creo

2. To Give the specific equations needed to perform a complete dynamic force analysis (including the kinematic analysis) for the machine you designed in Problem 1. (Lecture Notes DME 02 – slides 96137). Use ω2 = 30 rad/s (clockwise). α2 is 0 rad/s2. There is a reaction force of 225 N acting as shown. Assume this force is constant magnitude and direction with respect to the base of the machine. The parts should all be made of 1045 carbon steel and sized appropriately to withstand the dynamic loads.
3. To Check hand calculations for θ2 = 0°, 45°, 90°, 175°, and 300°.
Modeling Chebyshev Mechanism in PTC CREO
The mechanism was modelled in PTC CREO using dimensions specified above and using basic commands such as 'Extrude' and 'Hole'

The specific equations needed to perform a complete dynamic force analysis (including the kinematic analysis) for the machine designed aboven using ω2 = 30 rad/s (clockwise) and α2 = 0 rad/s2, there is a reaction force of 225 N acting as shown, assuming this force is constant magnitude and direction with respect to the base of the machine are given in PDF attached below.
Hand Calculations for θ2 = 0°, 45°, 90°, 175°, and 300° are provided in PDF attached below.
